Spin Spider Spin’s music is enchanting and the lyrics both poetic and factual, so while the child listens with delight s/he is also getting a sense of reality about the natural world. It’s not just conventional nature appreciation, but explores with respect and wonder those creatures often disparaged, such as spiders, slugs, snakes, and those vital bees. This is a CD every child should be listening to. A generation nurtured by the beauty and values expressed in Spin Spider Spin would be one who might understand the essential and amazing role all living things play on our planet.
