Practice basic math skills to achieve mastery of math fundamentals.  All you need is a paper, a pencil and this CD to build critical math skills.

 

Each CD focuses on a specific level of basic math.  The concept is introduced and an example is provided before the actual lesson.  Lessons are self-directing and self-correcting.  Answers are given after each lesson for immediate reinforcement.  Flexible timing arrangements allow the CDs to be used again and again in the resource room, classroom or home.

Combination Number Facts - CD933 -Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division facts used in combinations of two, three and four operations.

Measurement - CD934 - Provides experiences in working with familiar units of measurement first in single step form, then in combined use.

 

Writing Numerals - CD935 -Writing of numerals of 2 to 7 digits. Reinforcing place value.

 

Multiplying by Tens and Hundreds - CD936 -Reviews and reinforces place value.  Provides experiences inquick computation. 

 

Rounding Numbers - CD937 - Introduces and provides experiences in approximating numbers to various places.  Reinforces place value.

Estimating - CD938 - Introduces concept of estimation.  Provides experiences in using estimation.

Problem Solving - CD939 - Develops problem solving skills for story problems. Child decides whether addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division is needed, then mentally computes the problem.

Harder Problem Solving - CD940 - Development of problem-solving skills in word examples.  Provides experience in listening to each problem and determining the mathematical operation.
